Best Thumbnail Program

I'm looking for a thumbnail program that also creates HTML files and links the thumbnail and the image together....

I use Arles too....it rocks

I use Irfanview for my batch processing, those two pieces of software together (with some touch up stuff in Textpad) work wonders and shave some significant time from my gallery building...

Try Thumbsplus from Cerious software. Its an image manager, image altering tool, and html page generator tool all in one.

i use this one also but i have started doing my thumbs in photoshop.. it takes longer but i think it will be worth it

Photoshop will do batch thumbs and create an html page as well.

arles is very good but it desnot allow you to do images without html

so some tgp and tgp2 donot accept you.

actuall like i said i use photoshop most of the time, but arles does allow you to make thumbs without html.

You should explore Arles a little closer... you can tell it to link directly to the images or to create html.

The problem with Photoshop other than that its like going duck hunting with a cruise missle... is... You have very little control over image and thumb compression as well as output.

Arles gives you FULL CONTROL and has many custom features to give you pretty much what you want. I then tweak it all in first Dreamweaver then take it into Note Tab Pro to work out the details.

onlyreal, as AWC pointed out, you canlink directly to the pics, you can also use navigation and even set up headers and footers for your pages...
AWC, you're in Vegas too? A ton of us out here. I was talking on another board about forming a Las Vegas Porn Mafia...eheheh...actually, just a bunch of Vegas based webmasters getting together once or twice a month for lunch and networking, discussing business and working together.

It's always easier to do business with someone local because if they fuck you, you can just beat on their door and kick their cat ;)))))

Smalleranimals here to. I use it to make the thumbs, and the large images just make it pop out larger thumbnails and use them for full size images. Copresses really well

Photoshop is the best. You can crop pictures which are wider to make all the thumbanails look equal. You cant do that anywhere else...

Takes more time but it kicks ass in the long run.
