Did anyone play Doom4?
I remember the time when i was playing II, i was 9-10yo, it was fantastic.
III i remember too - its more horror than shooter, i think
so what about subj?

I'm 10h in.
I love it.
You have to like the genre though, and by genre I mean more than FPS, I mean running around and shooting shit in the face.
There's no story line so to speak, just chapters made of successive areas, when you step in a new area hell breaks loose.
Clean the area and proceed to the next.
There's the usual hidden areas and secrets.
Graphics are amazing.
Gameplay is smooth.
Guns are fun.

I haven't tried much of the multiplayer and level creation but heard it's good enough.

If what I described above is what you are looking for, then go for it

It is indeed and that's what I like about it.
No BS story line, no "Do you choose to save the widow or do you walk away?" moments.
They did include a bit of character progression though bonuses and perks for your weapons that you can unlock by finding secrets on the maps.
No sweat though.

Not a fan of the multiplayer at all. I hear single player is great I just havent gotten around to it yet. Will give it a shot tonight and report back!

It's not DOOM 4. It's just DOOM - a remake. And yes, I'm playing it on Xbox One from the first day of release

I plan on buying it once it goes on sale (I'm still finishing up Dark Souls 3). I've heard very good things about the Doom 4 singleplayer campaign.

I am not sure is it worth to buy any FPS title now, since it's hard to make something new what you could call revolutionary . So only FPS games which i would be play need to be in style of system shock 2.

Love the single player, great graphics and some very violent glory kills
Not a big fan of the multiplayer however.
