    Why do forums not use # (hash tags)?

    I think it would be of great use if they did.

                              Not from me. I use an iMac with the small apple keyboard, so there isnt a hash tag symbol on it...

                              Sure, I can access it if I learn a key combo, but thats almost like work...

                                                                      yeah, google rank on hashtags or at least, search results work from hashtags. Interesting, instagram raises a higher search rank than twitter or fb
