Swoit-explain your system

Swoit..I was going to try your system, after you responded to my thread for new sponsors the other day. But, now I am confused...

Your customer and webmaster copy says the following:

"Members are free to visit these sites for as long as they want, as many times as they want, whenever they want. It is completely unlimited!"


Your paysite OWNER info states:
"Users will be warned when their 1 hour limit is approaching, and there will be an option to easily extend their time, and thereby accumulate more minues for the paysite. ...
The bigger and better your paysite is, the longer members will stay looking at it and the more money you will make".

So, my question is, what is it... Unlimited use..all for one cost OR timed use...with premiums charged for additional use.

Way to go on a tangent, people. I too am curious about the qustion of how Swoit works. It strikes me that any system that isn't prefectly clear is probably a ripoff for someone.

SWOIT, you are always available to post when ever anyone mentions your program...So please enlighten us on how the program works..and why there seems to be a significant variance between what is told the webmaster / customer and what is told to the Paysite owner.

Hi there

Just saw your thread :-)

You are correct - when a member signs up to Swoit, they are free to then go and surf ALL of the sites within swoit for as long as they like, for the lifetime of their membership. That is why the retention we are seeing is unbelievable.
It's as if they had signed up to every site individually as a member.

With regards to the one-hour timer thing - As you know, we reinvest a large portion of our rebills into the paysites that participate in Swoit. We do this by calculating how much time has been spent on each paysite by all our members (each day) and apportioning a large chunk of rebills to each site respectively.

When a surfer wishes to go to a site, they are given an initial block of time of 1 hour. When the timer counts down to under 5 minutes, they are given the option to simply increase their time for another hour.

What this does is stop people going to bed and leaving their browser open all night when they are not using it, and accruing minutes for the paysite they were surfing on by accident!


So in a nut shell :

a) they get unlimited time
b) there are no extra fees or upsells for *anything*

Ok maybe my paysite sucks but in your last newsletter from the 05/30/2003 you have listed the top 10 paysites from the swoit network.
The #1 site got 406769 seconds = 3.8 hours a day on the average.
Hm so this guys earns maybe $2 a day.
