I have been using VPS hosting from TMD, since day one nothing but problems. I am on support everyday. So they tell my basically that they have come to realize that their VPS sucks, so they are upgrading us all to the cloud. The new upgrade is only half of what Arvixe offers at the same price and TMd's support sucks, long ticket times and I usually have to spell the issue out several times and they still can't figure it out. Lately I have to explain to their tech support how to fix the issue and tech support and the server ADMINS don't talk so support has no idea of any server issues going on. 4-5 hours into a support ticket with a novice they finally ask the server admin why they can't figure it out and, wow the admins tell them what the should have already known if the company had communication withe their tech support. Don't use TMD Hosting

So, TMD was supposed to be giving all of these upgrades to increase my speed by 300% these assholes lied through their teeth. They cut me down to 1 CPU core and now my site fails during video loads. Someone is getting their ass chewed today. Beware TMD Hosting

I wouldn't be too hard on them. VPS is meant to managed by the user. It's more coders and system admins. I would stick with CPanel hosting if you are not sure how to fix stuff yourself.

Understand that. The main issue is they lied more than once about the resources that they are providing me, that I am paying for. That is the issue

Have no prior experience with TMD but I would avoid Arvixe by any means. Nothing but trouble there since change of owners.

Yeah I have worked for hosting since 2001 and started doing websites since 1998. I have seen it all. The worst part is these free everything services actually get customers. That started the big say anything (hostgator) trend that has taken over for 8 years. I see it coming back to more truth now though, thank god. The BS in the industry has gotten out of control.
