DMCA Take Downs

Been doing periodic Googling of my brands since 2012. Got my feet wet with DMCA Take Downs in the Winter 2012 while Wintering in FTL.

Been VERY successful at DMCA Take Downs! In 2015, so far only one schmuck in the mid East ignores me.

Today, I got a reply from EBAY that they're talking down a whole pot full of listings of my stuff, by some "experienced" seller, listing them at 2-times their list price on Amazon! I cited "unsafe" experience for buyers!

I'm going to offer my DMCA Take Downs services to you, now. I find my video clips, full length DVD videos, eBooks, and print books. On fake retailers, on spam blogs that click through to unrelated products, on pure pirate "free" sites.

Occasionally I find a legit affiliate of AEBN or HotMovies! But those rarely make it into Google Search!

Not at all. They take up space in Google Search results, where customers can buy direct from Amazon, for half the price, and twice the shipping speed.

Since I've been removing these goofballs, my sales have gone up, because the Search clutter has been slimmed down, and the customer going to the source results in more buying power for them.

You know how people hate to wait for shipping.

We have a decent track record of taking down pirates ourselves, but the bitch is finding them. We now have a few pirates snitching on other pirates..... The pain in the ass is the time we need to spend to chase them.... So, if you find them, take them down and the price is reasonbale I will give you a try...

Not that I agree with the comments from some of the people in this thread, gfy nasty asses to a guy just trying to make a buck, in what seems a professional manner. However, I do agree with the above. Eric has been removing content for many years, his work & speed of work is outstanding. We have been helped many times with removeyourcontent

Just went back over my list of links of sites and pages I found over the last month.

Turns out, Google is less argumentative about Removal requests now, than they had been even a month ago.

Also, a half-dozen links where Owners and Hosts had been unresponsive to my DMCA Take Down notices, now are 404. So, either the Host took action without acknowledging, or the Owner otherwise faded away! Either way, they're gone... maybe within hours or days of my Notice to them, or maybe a week or two. Patience is a virtue.

That brings to close another 20 blogs (mostly) and sites on my Take Down list.

And that leaves Google Search much more focused on legitimate sites. Even my own "Official" sites are now placing in the first pages.

No two victims of Piracy are the same. Piracy comes in different forms. From true thieves who try to sell your content with free views and downloads, to fake affiliates who use your content to promote their unrelated schemes.
