yeah. clearly my opinion is a minority considering her bank. definitely one can immediately tell when an adele song comes on. other people may decide its a great voice. all i know is that i listen to the radio in a happy place, & the moment i hear her voice its like when i got the call that my mom died.

Nah I get it, there is other musicians I feel the same way about and even some Adele songs I feel that way about too. Not because of her voice tho but mainly due to the lyrics or speed of the song.

Just to give some perspective on Adele's success. She has sold in the area of 40 million albums, which is a shitload. However, Britney Spears has sold around 70 million, Taylor Swift about 140 million, Whitney Houston around 110 million. Rihanna about 175 million, Mariah Carey about 130 million and Madonna about 170 million. So she has a ways to go to be the most successful female act ever.
