We just received an email some seconds ago that Vanilla DeVille is/has closed her program.

The email is simply "This program is closed. Please delete all program links and content. Thank you. "

Can anyone confirm this?

Of course it is coming from "[email protected]"

It is a shame, and I/we are assuming it is true. This is a lot of links & content to pull.

I know. There's a 'nice' way to go out, and a 'not-so-nice' way to go out. IMO, this is like an email of no return. If she comes back in a year, how is that email memory going to sound. I would've thought it might be a nice announcement to every forum thanking people for their support for years & years (and to wind the site down slowly at least).

Deville Digital still (for us) redirects to a whitelabel streamate account now and made the notes to discontinue any further development. It might still be propagating based on the responses here, but I had gone there with a clean browser to begin with.

Yea, I double checked and you're correct. Site is up, members can log in but join link doesn't work.

her site says it's been live since 1999. If she was 18 in 99' do the math. Not everyone wants to be a pornstar till they die. her and her husband Stewie have always been stand up nice people so maybe it's just time they wanted to end it.. I'm not saying the instant shutdown without a warning period is great but it is what it is and I won't bad mouth great people like the 2 of them for wanting to move on. This weekend has shown me that life is short and it could be over at any minute. So enjoy the time you have.

I agree. It would've been nice to post here and on the other forum because it's sneaky to leave people in the dark that are now sending traffic to this day. And why redirect the webmaster to a whitelabel? That's really funny.

Apparently, money is an issue, or they both would've gone out a bit more respectively. Or maybe there was a relationship breakup, etc. (in my past experience, the sharp, short one-line announcement sounded all too familiar to that).

That's why I mention in my original post that this will burn any bridges if they/she decide to return to the game.

A lot of people don't read GFY daily/weekly even monthly. This will serve as a last bump to those who might not've seen this thread on the front page.
