TGP script

I need a TGP script that still works and gets updated.

I tried getting TGPX to work, but no luck.

Konrad's Tube or TGP script would be perfect, but I need the ability for partners to be able to submit their links on their own, or read the url/title/thumb from their RSS feed.

And Konrad - if you ever put that ability in, I'd love it!!

Any other suggestions?

I've been maintaining a fork of TGPX which you can grab off Github.

Besides that I would recommend Konrad's script which is very good.

Alternatively you could use a TGP gallery template with CyberSEO and pull in images / text with that.

I actually tried that version of tgpx and it wouldn't build the pages for me.

Konrad's script won't work because it doesn't permit partners to submit their own links, and that's pretty much all I need.

I have CyberSEO, but dropped WordPress ages ago.

Any idea why your version may not build the pages for me? I set the permissions accordingly and everything, just like in the old days...

@1215: I've been speaking with Konrad's programmer via their tech support about exactly such an option. It would be a paid addition. I have already explained that it would make his TGP script much more attractive to traditional TGP site owners as the current TGP script is more of a gallery content script versus a traditional TGP script.

You should suggest that option to them directly. Perhaps if enough people ask for it, they'll include it. For my part, I'm going to pay for the add-on to be created for me.

Having said that, I have been able to use TGPX to handle the submits and "include" my submitted links into the MB TGP script. But, it means having to run two different scripts to get the desired results which is not ideal. I'd love the functionality to be included in the MB script.

Konrad should definitely include the ability for partners to submit plugs on both tube/tgp scripts and read plugs from an rss feed.

I have smart-scripts too, but prefer Konrad's product since it's actively worked on. Doesn't smart-thumbs still mention epassporte in it? And they wanted cash to swap my license from one domain to the next, but couldn't even take epass off their product?

It could be a whole range of issues from permissions to path settings.

Several people are using this version without issues, so it will be something localised to your configuration.
