Being responsive is actually doing the theme (Aka presentation tier) responsive...

    normally html5 + css3 + some JS

I know what you mean but I was hoping some ready made scripts might have it built in already so it would save me the time.

I'm sure there are some companies selling scripts that are web 2.0 / responsive out there...

Just make sure they are using the decent or recent way to access the DB (if they are programmed in php)

Thanks for the advice I will make sure they have a recent way of accessing the database. The strange thing is, I searched google and haven't found much at all. As mentioned, most of the scripts appear to be quite old, nothing recent. Hopefully someone here has seen newer ones especially one that is responsive.

                  Urghh 404 on the demo

And looking at it closely, it's more of a Yes or No rating. Was hoping to to find one that has a 1-10 rating scale.

I think that's quite possibly the reason.

                          For mySQL:

I've found the same. Been thinking about getting one custom coded, but it just seems like it should still be off the shelf. I had a fairly popular rating site I had to take down because the code was just too old and vulnerable.

OH! I didn't check the preview sorry about that

                              This one looks nice

This one is open source so I dunno, no demo either.

Freelancer show bids for Hot or Not scripts anywhere from a couple hundred to over a thousand. Good luck

By the way, I've been doing a lot of searching on Google for some development and have realized their results for a lot of technical stuff is crap. I got the above results, except for Freelancer, by searching Bing.

Thanks Blade for the finds , The first one in your link looks promising but the price $2500 ouch.

Might have to look into the open source one and custom code it

I agree, I thought about getting custom coded too, like yourself, I thought that with the popularity of the concept that there should be one already out there that someone has already made that is not ancient which is not open to vulnerabilities ;)
