    Securionpay feedback

Hey guys, looking at Securionpay for processing based on some of the threads I've seen here. Anyone have any experience with them?

Seems its all the same posters offering feedback in other threads. Hubpeople seem to love the product but I haven't seen much else. Thanks everyone.

We are using it for a few months now. Very powerful and easy to integrate, and you have super control over your business, your customers, your fraud system etc.

I've been working with Lucas for years, and I know he's a very trustworthy guy and he's always true to his word. He's set up an amazing product here.

BTW: the Securion API was amongst the 29 best APIs world wide at 'Let's talk Payments'.

I can defo vouche for Securionpay. Arguments:
      - Incredibly easy application process. Easier then any IPSP even though you get your own merchant account.
      - By far the most advanced (means easy & stable) api out there currently.
      - Self hosted payment form which means 100% flexibility and adaptability to whatever flow you want to cultivate. Read: The best for a/b testing and multiple conversion flows.
      - Overall a very refreshing UI.

Great to see companies I had not seen post in the other threads chime in.

How would you compare them to epoch? epoch seems to have a large share of the market.

The easy account opening and API capabilities are most interesting to me. I can find info on the API's but can anyone offer any quick feedback on why the signup is so good?

        Thanks again guys!

Ok so here is the difference:
Epoch is an IPSP. So what they basically do is this: They pool all the merchants in one pot and then go to the banks and say: "This is the pot please underwrite this as a whole".
The bank then tries to determine the risk of the pot as a whole.
Advantage for the bank: No hassle with single merchant accounts. Also they will always play safe and rather put a premium on top of the true risk just to be on the safe side. For the merchant this means higher fees.
Disadvantage for the merchant: none if your risk profile is above the average of the pot but considerable if you are less risky. Then you basically subsidize the others.

Epoch works with simple redirect/iframe. This means you have no flexibility on multiple dimensions: e.g. you do not host the form which means you have no control. If epoch is down, you are down. Or, you have no possibility to analyze the data in the context of the payment form as you have no access to it.

Needless to say that Epoch is an amazing service nevertheless!

Re signup process: It is literally 1 document to be signed.

Thanks for the info Tom. Greatly appreciated!

A friend in the industry also suggested I take a look at commercegate because I have a EU incorporation.

Anyone using them at the moment? Seems as though they were one of the big players based on some reading i've done but its all outdated and old...

Thank you Everyone for such great comments and testimonials!

@ A Titsburgh Feeler - I see you have been doing some very in depth research before deciding where to park your money. I think it this is exactly the way to do it to avoid any problems or surprise later on.

I see you have asked more question about the sign-up process and i feel i could give you even more feedback from the first hand:

                - once you register you have immediately access to everything we provide on your testing environment
                - we don't force you to use just ONE way to integrate or none; instead you can chose to integrate our platform in the best way it suits your model or payment scenario you have or always wanted to have; the system will cope with anything you may think of in this regards. You have a complete flexibility from A to Z,
                - you can integrate in any programming language you wish or your developers know!
                - integration can be done in few hours once you decide how you want to have it. Two weeks or month of coding to integrate are no more ;-)
                - adding our new features is a matter of copy-pasting one line of code
                - paper work has been limited to minimum to save time and compliance turnaround is fast
                - your merchant account will be delivered in guaranteed max of 5 working days after signing the agreement!
                - APIs, doc specs and SDKs are publicly available online
                - Entire tech support team for your disposal if needed.

Short and flexible integration process = money and time saved!

Contact me directly for more detailed explanation should you chose to close a deal with us.

                Thank you!

With all the horror stories of billers I've read, I'm definitely trying to do as much research as possible so thanks for all the feedback everyone!

I'm still considering commercegate due to a friend's referral. No one here has any input on them?

@MrPay - I'll be in touch shortly. Thank you for the more in depth breakdown of your solution.

I know Lucas for many years, he has been helping us with all our billing needs and could always count on him. This is a very important aspect, to be able to contact someone with proper knowledge, when you have questions or issues. SecurionPay is definitely taking a new approach to billing with their advanced API and customizing options.
Looking at some of the other big players in this field, not many made a progress over the years, they keep using old, outdated technologies. It?s good to see a company, which is finally embracing new technologies.

Agree. Less horror stories would have taken place for sure if proper questions were asked before. Learning process by experience can be painful but also rewarding if done right.
