I am wondering about anti theft, since it is electric, does it have some sophisticated shit? Or can you install some super sophisticated that you could not into normal car?
It's a pity they haven't found a market in Australia for these, we could roll out solar powered recharging stations all over the place. Many Australian's have solar at home - so the cost to run one of these would be very little for someone with existing solar.
Nooo.. I'm so sorry Zuz but I can't accept your congrats. I only have the Tesla as an extended test drive. I have to return it soon. So sad!

Dynamo is electric cars fan as well?
No, I don't think he would reduce himself to extreme libitardiasm that I would to like these cars....

Mark, is that yours?
Man oh man I wish... It's an extended test drive as I said to Zuzana... I was already sold before but now I'm really sold. I knew the car was fast and sleek and high tech and sexy (to me) and all that stuff, but what I really wanted to test was my own personal "range anxiety", which is what I am now doing. I'm also really impressed with the center console. I was worried that it would be hard to use since it has so much stuff on it, but its actually pretty intuitive. After about 15 minutes I had no problem using it and driving at the same time.

I think that Tesla knows where all the cars are, and if a car is reported stolen it can be shut down, the GPS Coordinates issues, etc... it probably has more too.

That's surprising... I wonder what the issue is. You would think that solar powered anything would be huge in Australia.

Solar power is big, many houses are well fitted out for solar. This is why it surprises me that Tesla haven't embraced the market, especially in a country of early adopters - Australian's love to embrace new technology.
There are a couple of bespoke distributors of the Tesla (Tesla opened a store in Melbourne during December 2014) but delivery times are long and conversion adds to the cost.
i don't think there is a better answer to a thread seeking dyna mo love for test driving a car.
I was hoping you would see the thread early, but oh well. There's just no way I will ever win your love then. *sniff*.

I was hoping you finally got one.
I almost bought one last year but we opted to get a house instead. Would love to get one this summer but I will wait until next year, latest.

love Tesla, got an e flyer yesterday, they have a few used ones available in Toronto
Go check them out and take one for a test drive. I think you'll like it. You're tall like me so you'll appreciate the room inside as its kind of a big car. And the finishing on the luxury models are really good too.
