I totally agree.

This is absurd and will only be distracting.

I can only hope that anyone with the poor taste to actually put those on their bike will cause the driver following them to be hypnotized by the pendulum like swinging of the lights that cause them to simple crash into the bike with predictable result of killing the bike rider!
