Probably finally went belly up and are living the life with your money. Even if they didnt, and they havent stolen your funds yet, they will.

I am pretty sure you cannot believe all you read on the net / forums, so that's why I decided to make a test.

I will see what is going on in the near future and how this problem will or will not be solved.

When it comes down to a zillion threads & crowds of webmasters talking about late/incomplete/missing funds and dishonest support, I think it's a pretty safe bet there's shady stuff going on.

Why even waste your time, effort, money, etc, "to see how it works" when there are a bunch of highly respected longtime processors who pay every week without fail and actually respond to support tickets? Just don't understand why people insist on using them after all this.

As wslover says, Verotel is one. CCBill, Epoch, Netbilling. Those are the 4 biggest, I thought this was common knowledge?

Verotel and Epoch has opening fees, pretty big.

CCbill is easy to be scammed by affiliates.

Netbilling I don't know yet, haven't used it.

They all have opening fees, which are a pain in the ass but not really more than a drop in the bucket for a serious business. There's an entry fee in every field.

As for "CCBill is easy to be scammed by affiliates", if you actually institute an affiliate approval process like more & more programs are doing now, it's not hard to spot shady operators. Just use good business sense rather than take every random who fills out a form in 30 seconds.

Or.... keep using Zombaio and see how that works for you.

Again, why not go with a company who you *know* will pay you?

This isn't one or two webmasters with an axe to grind - consensus across the board is that they're shady and that you'll pay a lot more in the long run then you're saving from the VISA/MC fees that everyone else pays. I'm just trying to understand the mentality.

My mentality is that I don't want to pay fee in a percent for each membership and a yearly fee, which I consider pretty big.

It's like double taxation. Thus, my mentality is not to pay to many taxes, and search the cheaper taxation, even if this means that errors can occur from time to time (even ccbill had a lot of errors, they submited some memberships to our password files, but the members were not displayed in the control pannel, so.. is this an error really ? )


My mentality is not to keep all my eggs in one basket, and always try something new.

So far, my only issue with Zombaio has been that they had an error in their site, which did not allowed me to login to my account. This issue is fixed now.

What do I have to lose ? A couple of hundreds ? How would I be in profit paying $1000 to epoch, and then earning a couple of hundreds from a new and small site ?

Any business man knows, or it should know, that profit = income - costs ;) The bigger the costs, the smaller the profit ;)

If you make $1 more than the cost of processing with a reputable processor, that's $1 more than you'll get from Zombaio.

Go with Verotel, aren't they offering a payment plan for the fees if you can't afford 100% upfront? Surely other processors can wangle you a similar deal?

You are missing the point that Zombaio WILL NOT PAY YOU!

So, sign up with them as a biller. Watch your signups come in. Good so far right? And it hasnt cost you anything to start right? Well, 3 months down the line when you have a few thousand sitting with Zombaio, and they do not pay out, What is your net now?

So, instead of
A) Paying the upfront costs, lets say $1000 and you generate $2000 in sales. You are + $1,000.00.

You chose
B) Using Zombaio, no upfront costs. Generate $2000 in sales, no payouts. You are now -$2,000.00

totally agree. With CCBill, just pay attention to your stats and you are probably fine. CCBill will deactivate some shady affiliates, but it is worthwhile to learn your own join patterns and pay attention to anomalous affiliate activity.

ameliag likes zombaio because they are better then verotel who didn't pay her money.
