    What processor and ram?

I think that my computer is getting old. What processor and ram do you have? I have 3.4 GHz, and 8GM RAM (12GB if I add more, I have it).

That is more than enough. Unless you run some super heavy programs.

Get a Haswell CPU. The 8 core would be a good option.

SSD was the best upgrade I ever did for my PC. 15 second boot time down from almost a minute

8 logical cores (i7) if do you video editing. 5th generation if you're not on tighter budget.
                32 RAM. Minimum, but dual (2 x 16).

I've seen some nice acer laptops for reasonable prices with 8gb ram i7, the 8 gb ram. What's wrong with your ram & processor?
