Tech Python Database Abstraction?

What do you guys use for database abstraction with Python? I'm looking at DBO and PyDO primarily, but will look at others, based on suggestions.

I'm looking for something like PDO in PHP, in that I want it to bring full abstraction regardless of database (NoSQL and MySQL primarily).

Any help is appreciated!

I don't know if it's the front runner but it does what it says on the box.

I have used SQLObject, found it does the job, however you're right , all the documentation is a bit dated but it's actively maintained, last update 3 days ago.

That's the problem. That, and Python fanboys salivating all over me whenever I make a Python-related appearance.
