I have a site, not quite sure, but believe its the latest JAVA doohikie ( do not piss on me I do the business and I said elsewhere here I do not know the difference between Java and a Cappuccino.)

Basically, I have a movie site ( DRM downloads, DVD and Streaming) NOT a membership site buy or rent per movie, we are hooked up to a payment processor. Unfortunately, just as smart and good my geeks are they get paid a lot more money by CIA, NATO and major banks to provide their security and my site is just a hobby with babes to them. I need somebody who does not make 8,000/ week ( see above) and who can do it all from the scratch.

So, I am looking for and option of building a brand new site and even more important maintaining it after. I do not care if it is off the shelf or built from the ground up.

Unfortunately I only have mainstream Skype ( we also make movies for Disney )
So either here or e mail, for now.

I still do not know how to get messages here on this site.

Yes, there are postbacks that he can use to call a script of his to process data post sale (rebill, expire, etc.). I believe that's the script he's looking for someone to write for him.

We have one of these, but it's not paypal specific.

Surprised nobody has a nats postback script for wordpress yet, that would likely sell a copy or two as a paid add-on.

We have one of these too. Actually, the nats posting back to wordpress didn't work out so well, so what we did is authenticate logins to our wordpress sites through nats then create the user in wordpress.

Of course not, I did above outlined in "layman strokes" what I need, you could have answered to it "no problem" or " i do not do Java" or " oh yes I could do that" .... But instead you did ask me that you are not sure about different Skypes. For now I do e mail, or will try to figure the Skype later.

And guess what I would actually like to know if this Forum has private messaging if yes, i cannot find it. If I ever do figure it out i will answer you quickly.

Click on the USER CP up at the top left and then go to private messages in the menu and send a message to whomever you want.

Your outline is NOT an outline..

so yes I know JAVA.. its a piece of shit on most things, but yes I know it.. (but again, it depends on what you are doing, and what you need done) you don't pick the language for the solution, you pick the solution that is best for the problem. (regardless of language) unless you have specific dependencies that require you to do such.


And as for Skype ... you cant figure out how to use Skype ?? goto Skype.com , download it, install, create account .. done..

or why not just post your email address ?? if you are concerned that someone is going to spam you, then goto gmail and create a free email account and post that address.

I doubt you will ever find any "reliable" help on this forum if you are coming across this shady.

But again, he just said "Java Thingie" I haven't coded one of those yet..

A "Java Thingie" could be a NODE.js site, or hell a ton of groovy code and microsoft.net to boot. (and I don't touch microshit at all, no matter the pay)

There are a ton of scripts that do what he "sorta says" he does, and doesn't need a developer for. But its like trying to pull teeth to get to what "does he want".

I am starting to think I should have heeded the warning from above and walk away at first post.

nope, not yet, talked to TMM about it but they complicated it so much we said cancel the work order
