    Tech Latest Version CentOS 7

I just want to find out if any of you know know how the latest CentOS 7 compares with the CentOS 6 or 6.5

Which version should I go with for serving static web pages mainly? And some small amount of PHP applications.

Any difference in the speed of operations between the versions?

If you're familiar with init.d and not systemd, I would stick with Cent 6.

XFS is also the default filesystem now. Frankly 7 feels like a step backward.
    I like pie.

Do you use cPanel on planning to install on it?

Then CentOS 7 is no go, cause it is not supported yet.

"Official update: development is still ongoing for CentOS 7 support. We are now targeting 11.50. cPanel & WHM version 11.48 will *not* work on CentOS 7. "

I see..... presumably CentOS 6, the 64 bit version is fine with Cpanel/WHM?
