Best TGP site script?

I was running TPGX in one of my sites, and had to update PHP in my server, which rendered a lot of functions useless in TGPX. With JMBSoft being gone, there's no way to get support for their script, so I need a new one.

What's the best TGP site script out there?

Czarina, there's a few edits you can do on the existing files to make them compatible with php5.4 and 5.5 (and though I have not checked, my guess is they'd also work on php5.6 as well).

Do a quick search for unofficialjmbsupport and then proceed to the TGPX area... there's a thread there for New Install / Required Edits.

SmartThumbs was always my fav. Its autocasting feature is what made it the best back in the day.

Heh, I despised SmartThumbs. I cancelled a pile of paid accounts for doing stupid shit like "casting" a submitted gallery at 2am for 5 minutes and then disabling it if never had enough clicks to compete for skim. As a trade script, absolutely fine. As a script to sell paid accounts, I thought it was a very poor choice. It was certainly beneficial for the webmaster, but (imho) horrible for the guy paying for a submit account. I thought Germes / Brownie was the best of them all. I think TGPX was a gamechanger though.

I agree: Brownie is by far the best script.

As for smartthumbs: I have had a lot of problems with it. Hit by hacks and being deindexed by Google. Support was never of much help if you did not speak their coder language.

TGPX used to be the best, but their site is no longer up. The best one to use now is Smart Thumbs.
