Special? Feature release is just and excuse. It comes with security fixes. Although just like Windozs I’m sure they broke something else with these fixes
I fucking hate what they did with the bookmarks menu in Safari in iOS8 on iPad. You pick a bookmarked site to go to and the bookmark menu remains as a side window. Now you have to click the bookmarks icon a second time for the menu to disappear. In iOS7 the bookmarks menu would disappear automatically as soon as you picked a site.
Ok my mistake then. I saw a new model announced recently which looked like the Porche model but then it must be another one
Porsche model has the same hardware as Q10, except for the luxury looks and the price (around $2k). BlackBerry Classic is the same as Q10 when it comes to hardware, except it will have the tool-belt (call keys and trackpad) in the middle. It's a model for all the people that are still using old OS7 phones.
A notice for those who are not familiar with BB's anymore: all those new phones are not using the old BlackBerry OS7, but a new BlackBerry 10 OS, based on QNX (the most reliable micro-kernel OS used by nuclear plants, Formula 1 bolids, factory machines, even your air-conditioner).
You can check out more details about this baby if you are still interested in: BlackBerry Passport. The user experience is really amazing.
I'm in love with my Q10 (QWERTY device) and will never get used to touch-only phones. I didn't know there's more people here liking BlackBerry phones.

People still use blackberrys? That's like trying to use 2 sticks to start a fire, it'll work but it's not the best method. Use a lighter instead aka iPhone.

BB new phones and OS are really good. Windows WP8.1 is also good, the fastest and smoothest OS for entry spec phones. But neither of them will sell a lot of units.
They can both repeat til their heads turn blue that all the major apps are available, it's all about apps and they're either unavailable or subpar. I'd buy the BB passport. but does it have a talking dictionary app I need? no. Does my broker have an app? no. My bank? no. DMX lighting controller? no. etc.
Other people will miss native Nike +, Netflix, etc. These things tip the scale, phones need to do more than secure email and internet browsing these days.

Ok thanks for the explanation
Never owned a BB but just bought a Nokia Lumia 930. Also a great phone that has everything iPhone 6 calls new like NFC and OIS. Something Nokia phones have had for a couple of years, including wireless charging.
Running WP 8.1.1 with live folders and everything works pretty smooth. I haven't found apps to be a huge problem these days, but then again I use 20-30 apps and have the most important to me.
Best of all - price was only little over half of the price of iPhone 6.

WTF are you talking about? BB OS 10 is way ahead Ios, plus HUB is amazing.
Crapple fanboys are brainwashed to the level of speaking out of their assess
By the way - Ios8 copied some functions from BB10. Yeah, that is how BB is "lagging behind". Lol.

Lumia is definitely smart choice. Same or better than crapplephone, yet almost half as cheap. Plus yo udo not feel like sheep with the same phone as your friends.

Indeed good quality and great cameras as well. They probably also have the best entry level phones on the market.
No need for iPhone when there are so many other great choices out there.
I tried a galaxy and switched back to iPhone... Wish there was more out there on the market
I know many people of done the same. If you're not one to need to hack into your phone all the time and go nutty trying to make things work in sync properly then the iPhone is the way to go.
With the iPhone as with all Apple products, things just work which leads to more productivity.

What's up with apple sheeple thinking that there is only iphone and galaxy?
There are plenty of other android flagmans (some without crappy samsung bloat software), also there are windows phones, also smooth BB 10 phones and so on.

while this is simply false and always an individual decision, i also know that the discussion with you over this would be fruitless
Sheeple will just repeat the mantra that was installed in their brain by Jobbs - it simpy works
for him it might be true - for me it's not
like i said, it depends on the individual situation
but that you need to hack Android phones is as false as that Windows does bluescreens all the time or you never need to restart Macs or Linux can be installed without problems ;)

I like them both, for different reasons. There is an attractive element to an open environment and there is an attractive element to a closed environment. No clue why everyone gets so upset one way or the other. The haters are worse than the fan bois, nonstop trolling of an electronics manufacturer and its users?
