Apple is definitely Superior, it just works, looks nicer and doesn't crash like that Android shit. Apple is for Pimps that just want their shit to work. Android is for 20 year old dorks that just say "Yeah but can you do this" from their Mom's basement. I stand behind Mark and all Apple FanBoys.

The Apple ecosystem, the availability of Apps (for both desktop and mobile) exceeds anything any alternative offers.
There's more software available for the Mac and in the rare case you must have a piece of Windows software you can run that too.
As for the iPhone and iPad, nothing Android comes close - not remotely.Comment

I like Apple products because for me, they work very well, look good, have fantastic support. To me / for me / I think / My opinion, Apple makes great products. And, I have tried and owned lots of competing products over the years. My opinion is based on actual usage. If you've never owned an Apple product, your opinion doesn't count.
I like electric cars because they are just as fast & comfortable as gas cars, but require no gas. I pay alot less for energy with an electric car. The car is also smart enough to convert the energy usually lost to braking, back into energy used to power the car, and show me how to be more energy efficient. For me, me, me, I think / I believe / I know, that Gas engines are extremely inefficient, smelly, dirty and expensive compared to electric alternatives. You can at least appreciate that my driving is not contributing to the shit everyone is inhaling these days. Today I passed the 700 Kilometer mark on the odometer. Amount of gas used so far? 0 Litres. Total electricity cost? About $2.80. How much did you pay to fill your tank today?
On politics, Science and Climate Change deniers from both political parties, are dangerous and destructive idiots. Scientists around the world are warning of the dangers, but deniers instead prefer to believe the oil companies. Even worse are the politicians like Bachman who try to hide behind the bible, or the Duke Energy republican politician who ignores the pollution and damage his company is doing to his state.

How so? There are android phones way better than iphone. Speaking about hardware (as you separated this statement from software/eco system). Iphone hardware is inferior. The only thing fanboys can boast abour is apps/eco system which is subjective. But saying that nothing comes close as hardware is ridiculous.Comment

These replies are irrelevant in this case. We are simply discussing. He claimed that nothing comes close to iphone. Not even remotely. Which is absolute false. Comes close. Even ties. And even surpasses. That is a fact. Not that difficult to compare when talking about hardware.Comment

That's why I said it is subjective. Many apple fanboys think system/os etc is better and so on. But when somebody starts claiming nothing comes close and "even remotely" when speaking about hardware.. That is just a stupid claim, plain and simple.Comment

Maybe, but this isn't what I meant. "Better", is what is better for the user. iPhones are a better smartphone for me, but Android might be a better smartphone for someone else. Arguing about which phone is better is pointless if you just discuss hardware because there is much more to the user experience than just the hardware. You have to include the operating system, software that is useful to the user, battery life, and the user purchase & after-sale experience, most of which is either omitted from these discussions, or is posted by someone who does not have first-hand knowledge or experience of all of the above, from all manufacturers.
As someone who has used both Windows and OS/x (and still uses Windows on our accounting machines), I can say, subjectively, that OS/x is better simply because it never crashes, boots quickly, is easy to use, communicates with all of my networked devices without a hitch, and maybe most importantly I don't have to worry about endless security updates. It's also included with the price of the computer. All OS updates have been free so far except for one about a year ago which cost $20.
Again, OS/x isn't for everyone. All I can say is that it does everything that I like, and that I am thrilled with all of my Apple purchases going all the way back to 2008.Comment

He specifically talked about software/eco system and then he said "as for ihone and ipad" which sounded as if he spoke about hardware only.
So I agree with your that iphone as a whole is not only hardware, but I was referring to his post where he (at least it very much seemed that way) claimed that iphone as a hardware is the best without no remote competition.
Reread his post, it surely looks like he meant only hardware with his last sentence.Comment
