    Cryptsy.com

    I have not posted here for years now. Some of you may remember me as owner of the long gone Library of Thumbs and TubeHound.
    I see that many users here are into crypto currency and id like to know your thoughts about www.cryptsy.com for ALT coins.

      What exactly do you want to know? It's an exchange, pretty well established, but has recently been challenged by the new kid on the block, mintpal.

              I used to use them for everything but now i use mintpal its much better shame mintpal does not have RDD though.

              There are a few people that have problems with cryptsy and ive seen in my own account a fluctuation of balance. I don't think they are any worse then anyone else but i would not keep any coins there long term.

                  Ok thanks alot for the input.
                  Just getting into crypto and Cryptsy came highly recommended.
                  I heard they recently gave away 200 mining contracts in a weekly prize drawing.
                  That really caught my attention.. is like 12k worth of contracts.

                      Cryptsy was the first alt exchange. It used to be buggy and slow and people are still pissed about missed trades back then. They're fine now but you'll probably want an account at each exchange for arbitrage opportunities.
