Wordpress related post plugin?

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good Wordpress related posts plugin. One where it would put related posts under a post. (Looking to fill white space with useful content)

Also, do you know of one of these plugins that you can just assign a post to a category or something rather than it doing a complete search of everything anytime someone clicks on a post.

For related posts you have either YARP or nRelate

I for one prefer YARP but the other is also hosted on their cdn so no server load or bandwidth usage for you.

Yeah there is a lot of them, I was looking through before I posted actually. So many of them but unsure of which are the gems, and which are the turds.

Yep.

Manual Related Posts will do that. It's my favorite related posts plugin for that very reason. I typically set it to show 5 related posts and assign 2 or 3 specific posts then let it randomly select the remaining posts based on the common tags/categories.

This one will do everything you're asking for.

I checked out yarpp, and it was pretty slick.

Then I checked out the pro version and in their terms it mentions something about not allowing porn..

Am I wrong, I hope.

manual related post is awesome. You can also set it up to featured image (thumb preview) related post which is great for wp tubes/tgps

Update: I just got a response from nrelate as well as Yarpp support teams.

nrelate does allow adult websites to use their plugin, but not their ad service

Yarpp does not allow their plugin tool on adult website, or their advertising feature.

Going to give nrelate a try, if that doesn't do it for me I guess it's manual.. but with a lot of updating, lol
