Looking for PROFESSIONAL Video Transcoding

I have 165 wmv files that I need transcoded to H.264 files. The videos vary in length but they average around 15 minutes. I can?t stress enough that I?m looking for a PROFESSIONAL for this project. I have Premiere Pro and Media Encoder so I could batch them myself however I?m looking for someone who really knows what they?re doing and understands the subtle nuances of the various settings in order to maximize the quality of the transcode while keeping the file sizes reasonable.

I can do it but really so can you there are a lot of questions that need answering, H.264 is a very diverse codec but not all devices are totally compatible for example the high profile will give you the best results but older computers and IPads cant play it (they can play the main or baseline profiles) so one question becomes do you want to be compatible with those devices? if so do you want two different encodes? And thats just one setting....

Not only can I do this, but I just spent a month doing just this for a class at school...and I feel my workflow has improved greatly as a result.

any professional will tell you that WMV is a horrible source format unless you have the files in really high bitrates

if you are lucky, the files will look almost the same after the conversion but for sure not better

but if you like you can send me a sample file
