                    1. perl - highly portable. works on almost every system
                    2. php - easy to learn and pretty powerful
                    3. C/C++ - harder to learn but VERY powerful
                    4. VB if you want to make windows programs with GUI's and all that shit, otherwise VBScript is good too.
