People are freaking out because a politician or his staff misused lane closures to punish a political rival. I agree it's a bad thing for Christie, but it's nowhere near as unusual as the media is trying to make it seem. I do envy the guys at bridgegate.com who are likely getting huge traffic from potential clients because of the story. It's almost enough to convince me to register porngate, sexgate, and all the rest just in case...
