VOD White Label Solution Needed

I'm looking for a reputable VOD provider who can provide a WL for a couple of our sites. Specifically, the following items are important:

• Allows us to use our own domain name on one WL
• Allows us to use a subdomain for another WL.
• Allows customization beyond just using a logo and changing the background color.
• Preferably a responsive format versus one that won't look like it was designed in 1998.
• A real bonus would allow us to include a custom remote CSS file to truly allow customization of the presentation.

Please note, I'm not interested in AEBN or Gamelink.

I reckon the whole VOD breakthrough happened quite a couple years ago already, apart those two you prefer to neglect, there's still www.hotmovies.com and www.AdultRental.com up and running.

Carlos, to clarify I like AEBN (though I do think they are ridiculously top heavy management wise which does little more than throw hurdles between yourself and your affiliate manager. Wait till you need something as simple as a change in house number -- you need to complete a form just to change your house number and fax it in).

Anyway, I do like AEBN. I just find their WL's to be very dated in appearance and aesthetics. Nothing is fluid. Gamelink's WLs are even more antiquated in appearance -- something that feels designed in 1998 by a junior designer who knew how to make nested tables.

I was, and remain, more interested in something much more fluid, responsive that would truly adopt our own site's look and feel -- and responsiveness to multiple devices and platforms, be it desktop or mobile WITHOUT redirects. I've yet to find any company who can offer this. Thus, we may just have no choice but to build our own and buy the content/feeds and just do it ourselves. I would have preferred to work with an established company, no question. However, I want more than a logo and change of background color.

BTW: you copied/pasted the html code for your AEBN referral URL instead of the actual code needed to refer a webmaster ;)

Before creating something from scrach, talk to the guys of Adultcentro. With their system you should be able to create something you need.

I hear you.. perhaps not the easiest task to go multidevice and all the way custom since the backend goes way back - on the other hand, who else should be the one to move first in the direction the consumers move than those, that hat have built a rock solid brand and also have the biggest amount of content / studios on board.

And talking about the management heaviness - yes I remember changing my postal address was exactly this complicated.

In fact, I am not convinced of the benefits of paying 10 times more than I pay for any of my network of servers' high quality bandwidth, beyond the licensing costs of the videos themselves. I'm still researching to see what my licensing costs would be over the course of a year versus paying up to 99 cents a GB and never owning the content.

I've just not emailed her yet, been working through demos and other "promotional text and features" of others I have been sent.

I also want a Sex Toys one.. but getting a VOD one is proving to be difficult enough.

Yeah, I understand what you mean. Currently there are lots of "$1 per scene" offers in the market.

I'm pretty surprised that there are only few players in the VOD market and they only have old fashioned sites, as you stated. I absolutely agree with you.

I changed my mailing address and bank info 2 weeks ago. Scanning and emailing the form took me about 3 minutes.
If that means my account is safe from being hacked or stolen: I really don't mind doing it that way versus the 1 minute it will take me with a NATS backend.

CamTraffic: it's not the time. Obviously it is easy. It's just a bit ridiculous to have an affiliate of 10 years with the same email address, phone number, etc and the only thing that needs to be changed is a house number and your rep is forbidden to make the change for you even on the phone. Just a lot of managerial red tape from the pencil pushers, and the reps have no choice but to deal with it.

Incidentally, you cannot compare it to recent things we have seen posted to do with NATS programs, where the PAYEE is being changed. We're talking a house number or street name. The checks are still payable to the same PAYEE.

Anyway, it's not a time thing, just a little off-putting when it's a company you've dealt with for years, and with the same rep.

You will be given a full admin where you can control rental, buys, featured movies, pricing, etc. We have some upgrades including emailing your members via the on-deck system and having an upload feature where your members can buy GBs to upload their movies to and get them off their desktop.
