I had a Samsung and loved it, but it had a lot of bugs. I also had a huge problem with the charger. It would not connect and it was sent in for fixing twice. I ended up having to buy a 2nd battery and had to swap the batteries, total headache.

I was not sure what to get and Telecom/Telekom was running an iphone 5 free special for a weekend, so I said what the hell, it's a free iphone5.

I have no complaints, does everything I need it to do. I would not call myself a fanboy or anything else, but for what I need this does the job.

So, the upshot of the linked "story" is that:

Apple will release a new phone next year (like they have every year), but they don't know when, nor do they know anything about it!

If you believe that, I have a few bridges for sale.

It's been proven time and time again that all these assumptions are just pipe dreams, especially this far out in the future.

If you haven't noticed, Apple is moving towards unison of their devices -- sharing content, data, etc. You want a "bigger iPhone screen" then buy an iPad mini to take with you.

Laugh all you will, they dominate the shit out of people's wallets.

A know a few people that own not just an iPad and iPhone, but also the iPad mini too for travel.

Making a smaller phone at this point is just stupid, no one wants the "lesser sibling" just like we saw with the iPhone 5C. Probably the biggest mistake made by Apple to date. The 5C will most likely become obsolete, or Apple will use them for corporate deals and put the final nail in the coffin for blackberry.

I owned two iphones a 3gs and a 4 . The 4 sucked and I went to samsung and never looked back. They make superior phones that actually get signal to make calls on. Its magical and ground breaking.
