We got the 1st season on DVD (24). When the show first came out I never watched it, and then I started hearing people say how good it was.... but I didnt wanna start watching when I missed like half the day!

This show kicks ASS. First night we watched 8 episodes straight... Its hard to stop watching cuz of all the damn drama and each show ends on a cliffhangar.

If you never seen the show I would suggest getting the 1st season.

same here - i watched a few of the first season when they were on TV, then borrowed the dvd set off my g/f's brother.

Talk about hooked - "just one more, just one more" until 5am eyes hanging out of our heads lol

Damn good series.

imho its better to watch the entire lot like that in a few sittings, rather than catch each show week by week with all the adverts and shit inbetween

I seen 20 mins of the first season, thought it was lame, so never watched again.
Then, sitting at home one night during the second season, I caught like the 3rd hour and after that, I was hooked.

I still have yet to see the first season, I think I need to get it on dvd as well.

24 is the best show on television.....followed closely by The Shield (IMO)

Some friends were watching the first season and told me that I should watch it but do not try to start watching in the middle of the season....so I waited and bought the DVD of the first season. Needless to say, I spent a whole weekend watching the first season.

The second season, I watched on TV (bought TiVO so that I would not take a chance on missing one) and I was unhappy all year long....I hate having to wait.....so next season I am not going to watch it until it comes out on DVD. (is that sick? ;)

24 is the fucking shittiest show... so much hype but its just absolute crap. Stupid storyline, scripts, acting, so much filler... and even the cameraman is on crack..

I gave it a chance, but man that show is SHIT.

I bought the dvds and watched all of seaon #1 having never seen any of it and was knocked on my butt by it!

But season 2 was VERY disappointing. It's hard to live up to such a good season like #1..so many plot twists that it was insane!

But season 2 was like..well, after they found the bomb..then what?
Was like the writers ran out of ideas and didn't know how to end the series.

BUT..I will give them kudos for the cliff hanger they introduced at the very end of Season 2. Hopefully season 3 will be a return to the excitement of season 1!

It's tv DOOD! It's supposed to be good escapist fun! Give me that ANY day over the RIDICULOUSLY inane "reality" shows!

The only show I have seen every single episode of...

Can?t wait for season 3 and the season 2 DVD (both will be out at the same time later this year ? I think I was reading that the DVD is going to come out 2 weeks before hand).
