    Absolute Cheapest Bandwidth?

what's the absolute cheapest bandwidth deal you've heard of or know somebody is getting? Per megabit. Quality bandwidth, not shit, and of course we're talking big volume.

    $100/megabit? lower?
I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

i'm happy with cogent and i have 300 megabits for a lot less than $100 each....i have 100 megabits i'm looking to sell right now too, trust me we've been with them for over 2 years and they're quite reliable.

I'll second that. Isprime has been pretty aggressive with their pricing lately. Webair has as well.
I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

              Webair, bitches.

That's about the size of it. I'm paying under $50/megabit for quality bandwidth. I never have congestion or downtime problems.

Im at 30/mbit (Nlayer mix without cogent) - im using around 40mbit.
Price is even incl 2 servers with apc.

But then again, I just sold my own host, so I buy at wholesaleprices.

it all depends on how much you use,

                    volume equals discount

                      i remember when a T1 was $4,500 /month

Cogent sucks according to everybody, this isn't to get the absolute cheapest bandwidth, Tier 1 bandwidth I'm talking about. Tho to be honest i dunno what Tier 2 bandwidth is and how much worse it is.

The price per megabit isn't the only issue to look at, it can be very misleading.

How you're billed is just as important if not more important. The price for 95th percentile, average, or a capped line will all be different, just make sure you're comparing apples to apples when shopping price.
