What Script Will do This?

I am looking to create a new site.

It will be entirely user orientated, basically. 1 user will create a topic and others will reply to that topic. Is this like reddit or digg? I dunno.

Anyway, I would prefer to use Wordpress or a custom script.

It's pretty important that it keeps out the crap and the spammers, I don't want users needing to register, everyone should be allowed to post.

A bit like these phone spam reporting sites where you can look up a number and instantly place a comment without needing to register.

So, yeah. Any ideas?

Yes. It sounds like it. Most forum scripts can be configured to allow unregistered people to post. It's just rare due to spammers. If he only wants the admin to be able to post threads that can be done too and then others would be able to reply. There has to be a Wordpress option too if he would rather use that.

Yeah I don't want a forum.
I want it to be more like..

Unregistered users can post a topic, unregistered members can reply to topic.
The database archives all the posts.

Ideally it would be self regulating (to stop spammers) by the public using reporting.
