It's a valid question though. At first revshare had NO xsells and NO member upsells and there were no email collections at stage 1 on signup forms as well where dating and cam programs could be sold via API. But then the programs added this to their revshare programs and what did affiliates get in exchange for it? Typically nothing. Absolutely nothing but lower conversions, higher chargebacks (which it's now standard to take back for now even on revshare), reduced rebills. But the program owner made money from all these things.

I realize this board is 90% reps and sponsors now but if you are objective about it I think you will see that what I said above is true from the affiliate perspective.

There may be some that shave half your sales and pay 100% on the other half.

I think the prevailing wisdom is that none of it really matters, all that matters is how much you are getting for your traffic. 100% of $25 is still only $25 and if you get one $25 sale with 3,000 uniques that's not better than the guy who pays 25% and converts 3 or 4 sales on those same uniques.
