i love aviation.. watch all sorts of shows, fly simulators, know basically everything there is to know....

Im booked on a flight with the 787 and i actually rebooked.. i love flying and you have a greater chance of getting killed DRIVING to the airport, than you do flying.. However, i feel like someday the dreamliner luck will run out.. What if all this fire happened mid flight?

I think im gonna wait and sit till boeing fixes this crap.. Word on the street is they outsourced too many parts in other to save on costs, and its costing them dearly..

fire in the cabin/cockpit is one of the worst things that can happen while in flight.. Ask swiss air 111 about it.. I rather have an airplane with failed engine, fuel tank leakages, blown tires, busted hydraulic line, etc, than have a fire on board

It seems like someone should punish Boeing for this whole crap. They should never sell those planes to anyone before they get fully tested and safe to fly.

appears to be cheaper testing this, on the fly
