New to affiliate program...need help please

Hello everyone!

I'm fairly new to the adult industry. A couple years ago my best friend needed financing and business consulting to start producing fetish content. We started our studio on Clips4Sale and have been ranked in the top 25 ever since.

We decided to break out on our own and build an a la carte website but I don't know the first thing about obtaining affiliates and driving traffic. The content we have is hot and very popular. I know most affiliate programs are centered around payouts based on subscriptions...this however is a per clip based business with the average sale about 15.00 and sometimes upwards of 200.00.

Currently we get 3500-4000 unique hits per day on Clips4sale and gross about 650.00-750.00 daily...conversion isn't an issue here but we do need to figure out a compensation program that works because it's not based on 'sign ups"....if we could duplicate that traffic or double it...the sky is the limit.

I set up an affiliate program with Zombaio but I'm not sure if that's fair or what we need to do to attract traffic. It's a great product...we just need to get hits and I welcome suggestions.

so how does that work when one affiliate sends a user my way, the user buys clips, then the user clicks on another affiliate's link the next day and then buys more clips? Does one affiliate trump the other?

So where did we leave this? I don't think Rev Share for life would be available but if you're pointing 2000 plus hits a day I imagine that would equate to at least 50.00 a day in revenue. I'm individually contacting all of you now.

Wtf are you talking about? Some of these guys can get u 2000 hits a minute, make the revshare better, or instead of selling clips, setup a members area, and charge people monthly , u guys make a ton of mistakes but its cool because you have unique content, and that will always sell. Most clips and vod sponsors pay around 20%, im not sure of zombaio, but maybe you could sell clips and monthly memberships? At end of day keep plugging and doing whatever makes u cash.

Hahaha! We've had quite a few people try to imitate our style over the last couple years...some with success. There are over 60,000 studios on the website we're posting those numbers on. It's never hurt our sales or our ranking and quite frankly I welcome it. The more producers out creating high quality fetish content then the more mainstream it'll become and thereby creating a larger market share. There's plenty of money to be made...we don't have to have every dollar and why be sneaky. At the end of the day (at least in the fetish community) we're close knit and work to lift each other up. We share models, tips on marketing and we applaud each other's success. It's no big secret what we're doing here and apparently this attitude has gotten us pretty far....but thanks for the warning man. Lol

Now, if you actually have any advice on developing affiliate relationships and driving traffic then I'd love to hear about it.

You're probably better off seeking out niche sites and contacting them directly. Offering 25% or less to affiliates its better off just buying spots. Will be a tough road gaining a wide range of affiliates offering that low of a percentage on either a one-time sale or revshare.

Creating quality content is the easy part. Having succes with it is all about your understanding and knowledge about the business and the ability to realise the technical infrastructure needed.
