Lookin for a tutorial site for photoshop. I need something straight to the point and in laymans terms.

Hello - Not sure what exact level your looking for, but about 7 years ago, I got some handy tips staring up from DocOzone..

If what you want to do is get rid of backgrounds, that's pretty easy. http://www.grafx-design.com/12photo.html (ok, it's a damn baby, I realize that) gives you the basics on that. One thing they don't mention is when you leave quick mask mode, go Select-Modify-Smooth-3pixels on your selection, otherwise you'll get jaggies.
