    Digital Camera question

    Does anyone know of any digital cameras that allow you to shoot continuous video clips until you run out of memory rather than ones that allow you to shoot 30 sec clips or something, plus has sound?

              buy a digital video camera. if you can't, all of the digital elph cameras (canon) shoot video till you're out of memory. i'm on my second (a powershot S230). useless to me for video, but if that's what you're looking for...

              they take great images (non-professional) in a very tiny, robust package perfect for travelling. which is why i have one

                I already have a video cam and a digital cam, but I am looking for something compact to fit into my pocket that can do video clips and sound with. Something the size of the Sony DSCU20 basically, without a time limit on the vid clips, I want it to keep recording until my memory runs out if I need it to.

                  Ahh I can't be bothered with pics.

                  But I found this on GOOGLE:

                  <img src="http://www.kameradoktorn.se/Nyheter/Photokina_2002/Ixus_V3.jpg">

                  Awesome camera with lots of features and as compact as can be.

                    Thanks the US version of that is the S230 by Canon but I looked it up and unfortunately it only does clips at a maximum of 3 minutes long but it's a hot camera for sure.

                      Most of the newer sony cameras do that (AFIK). I have a DSC-S85 and it kicks ass! I took a full 128mb movie once - its fucking awesome. And it is a 4.1 mega pixel. Good camera
