limit login attempts plugin wordpress

I read at dreamhost there is a 2nd wave of attacks going on with wordpress anyone try that plugin limit login attempts>? Is that enough?

you can also ask your host if they can whitelist only your IP address(es) and the IPs of your staff

mojo whitelisted the ip. m3server added an extra password via htaccess. but I have a lot of hosts so trying to be proactive.

I use it, I like it, it has a small footprint unlike a lot of the security plugins

I have been renaming wp-login.php and then rename it back to wp-login.php when I need to go back into admin.
