Who knows how to hide processor? See inside for example

Who knows how to do this with perl/etc so the person purchasing wont know the processor doing your credit cards..

Here is an example - Go here - scroll down to the bottom and try to other a bottlehttp://www.buyhghnow.com/iron/

You can't tell what processor they use. Ive talked to the owner before and he uses a popular processor.

So which programmer can do this? I think its pretty neat

All this script does is collect the customer information and then send the request to the CC processor's join page. I wouldn't advise it though unless you have arrangements with the CC processor because of CC security. Now the merchant has the credit card information and can make a copy of it. This might violate agreements and I think when a surfer see's the standardized ibill, ccbill, epoch forms they get a better sense of security. Regardless, talk to your CC processor first.

Talk to your CC processor about it. I didn't state which programmer can do it because it's not difficult with perl, anyone who knows perl and the LWP module can do this in an hour or less.

Only an idiot would give out their credit card number on an unsecured page.

And what's so great about not seeing the processor? Seems a stupid thing to be worrying about to me.

I may add that this illegal to do could get you in jail for fraud.
Even if you do it through SSL env.

This is not illegal, however it is against every credit card regulation in the book if your friend is using an IPSP or third party aggregator. Actually if he's using his own merchant account he is supposed to be using a secured page.

I'm sure that Visa would love to terminate his account and any others doing this.

Oh and I know why your friend is doing it. Perhaps he'll get nailed on cross border acquistion as well.

if he uses a merchant, he still shouldn't store CC info (unless he's CIPS compliant), but only pass it to the gateway.

I needed to hide processor cuz i wanted to sell a product through spam

No need anymore. I have a processor who tolerates spam fine when you do good numbers with them
