    An odd Google pr problem

This is going to sound kind of odd. At least it does to me. I have several new domains that have no pr and they aren't listed in google. I have a few others that have no pr, but they are in google. This is something that I've only noticed within the past two months or so. I've never seen anything like this before. A few of them don't even seem to be getting spidered. I've worked with a lot of domains over the years and I've never seen this before. At first I thought it was flawed wordpress installs that were blocking the spider somehow. I have this problem with one site and it isn't using wordpress at all. It has no pr, but it is in google. I've done seo for it and I have backlinks and traffic. It is at least a month old and has no pr. Not even pr0.

Anyone know what's going on? I've never seen it before and I'd like to be able to fix it.

Wordpress on all but 1 of them. I think there is about six of them in total that I have this problem with. I can't figure it out. It doesn't make sense.

Use Google Webmaster Tools and see if there are any errors (Could take a few days)

        Also, submit a sitemap there.

I have worked with hundreds of domains and this has never been a problem until now. I'm not just concerned with the current sites... but I don't want this to happen again. Could it be on a bad ip address? Would changing the ip address fix the problem?

There is no such thing as "no pr," at least I have never seen Google returning a response "no pr." You should either get the pr or an error; if you know what the code of that error is, then that might help.

If you are checking your PR online, then the site where you are checking it simply diplays the error (some or all) as "no pr."

This. Gotta submit the sitemap. And you can check google's blacklist from there too, I believe.

I have been using the Firefox plugin SearchStatus to check the pr. What you are saying does make sense. Maybe it is a problem with the plugin itself. I still have the problem of a few sites not being spidered. But, maybe I do have to submit them in some way. I just don't like doing stuff like that.

Try something other than a plugin like checkpagerank.net
