No one is being "manipulated". It's called a free market.

All markets are manipulated to some degree.

With such low volume it's easy for mainstream investors to buy a few millions worth every day, watch the price rise, dump it all at once, buy it back, etc.

Doesn't mean it won't keep going much higher, or that current price doesn't reflect intrinsic value.

A ddos attack following big sell orders to create panic is a market manipulation, anything that interferes with the free and fair operation of the market is a manipulation.

It's actually the definition of free markets. prices dictated solely by supply and demand left 'free' of any interference.

If it's over it's over.
But i doubt it is. I think it will grow again. But we will see the same thing happen again in 2 weeks. So, we have a problem if this thing wants to grow. People will lose trust. They already did after this massive crash.
Imagine this happening again in 10 days.

there are way too many people waiting to buy in at a low price for it to die anytime soon. eventually i think it will run out of steam once enough people have bought or sold at the wrong time but for the time being every time it goes down, i'm sure it will go back up again.

If I pollute a river upstream to buy farm land at depressed prices I am manipulating prices, doesn't matter if nothing is stopping me from making my own lake or even moving to another state.

Definition of free market is not free-for-all but FREE of interference. interference doesn't come much more clear cut than a DDOS attack.

Usually when a girl gets one over on me I take responsibility for misplacing my trust and I don't let it happen again. Gox has had this problem over and over If I let the same girl do the same shit to me repeatedly... then I deserve it.

In a free market the actors learn whats going on and adapt. In a state controlled market you have daddy government holding your hand doing all kinds of shit that causes market distortions.
