Just heard it on the Telly.
Sad but I believe its for the best.

Always liked his thumbs up and thumbs down and his movie reviews.
All this before the net / social sites and the likes of rotten tomato.

I really enjoyed watching Siskel and Ebert, "At the Movies". I was pleasantly surprised when I learned years ago, that Roger Ebert had co-written "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls", with campy B-movie director Russ Meyer:
