I can't wait to have my I5 back... I wanted a HT Ivy Bridge Xeon 8mb, the 1230.. and better RAM, but I couldn't justify spending more for it and buying a video card.. I will sell this one for enough to justify that, though

Can any of you guru types tell me if all that shit will work together? It's Z77 so it should work with the I5-3570k, right? I can use the system with two memory slots empty.. yeah? For some reason the 2x8 was cheaper than 4x4 ..... I had the ballistix low profile version 4x4 before, they call that a "quad channel kit' but I think this will be just as fast, if not better.. anyway

PS: I know the case and psu suck.. it's not a system I'm keeping, though

Kingston SSD? I would skip on that.. Either get an Intel 520 series ssd or a Plextor M3S or M5P series ssd.

the case? sucks - Much better http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119225 or even http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...an%20z9%20plus (the zalman case is spacious and has a loty of fans and place for more and only $59. Compare to the chose your choice makes this one look like a Rolls Royce)

As for the cpu it's fine but throw in a Corsair Cooling Hydro H100 or even the H110

I had the Hyper X SSD in the box I built around Christmas time and it was just as fast as the Corsair Force GT I had before that... And it's cheaper, so what the hell.... not sure how long they last, though. The Force GT lasted a year without a problem.

I really fucked up on that case. It didn't have any reviews but I found the same exact case here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811148062 and apparently it's going to have a DOA PSU and be extreme trash. Sigh.

What's so much better about that board? I always use to use ASUS and then I had problems with several of their boards and said fuck it... the one I got is Z77 and solid caps and seems pretty solid looking, I guess. It's not going to let some moron crossfire the cards for gaming and all of that bullshit, but I don't play games
