Between 4 to 6? I just keep topping up the glass, and sipping out the straw all day. If it tastes to weak, I add more vodka. To strong, I top up with redbull.

I drank heavily through the 80s and 90s and finally started thinking about it in my early 40s. I cut out the hard liquor and stayed mostly with beer. And in the last few years managed to cut the beer down as well (although I still have the infrequent weekend bender a few times a year).

Now, at 48...I don't bounce back as easily. Just a fact of growin' old.

vodka is a bit too much to drink that much of it on daily basis.

i like good quality vodka, whisky, tequila, gin, etc, however drinking only white wine mixed with sparkling mineral water in 99% cases, i can drink it for longer period of time like all night partying and hangovers aren't as hard as from harder booze.

beer i just don't drink for some time, it seems to be a light alcohol drink, however hangovers are as hard as from something much stronger.

its probably not something he wants to air online but i wish for his sake he'd seek some help. life is too short to waste it being wasted all the time. while life can seem like shit when you stop drinking, it does get better..if you let it. he should at least stop the red bull plus alcohol, that's a recipe for disaster.

This post you quoted has nothing to do with alcoholics, I was speaking about heavy redbull using... Not only with alcohol but also in general. Of course redbull+alcohol is even worse. You do not HAVE to drink redbull with your vodka if you are alcoholic, juice, cola, tonic or whatever else would do perfect. Why fuckup your heart on purpose like that? 5 cans every day + alcohol...
