    webmaster question to webmasters

Hello, I've been out of adult bussines for years and I want to go back in again. What is most profitable type of sites when promoting adult sponsors. Blogs, TGPS, MGPS, Free Sites, Tube SItes... ? I think CJ and galleries are out of bussines but I ask just in case... I want to start somehing but I don't know whats popular and money making today. I've tried all of mentioned but I had bussines that made me more money than adult so I've quit for a while. Thanks for any suggestion.

Paysites does not convert more... The vast majority of programs has fucked members because doing cross-sales and other shits (like banging cards). Nobody else dares to put your credit card in this type of site.

Currently some programs are stealing webmasters. Some simply do not pay. Others have mysterious tricks to steal your traffic.

I believe that CCBILL programs is one of the few exceptions!

You can get better results selling your traffic to networks like Juicyads or Plugrush.

    My opinion!

Don't listen to most people.. There is still a ton of money in this business..
Work on being a salesman more than a webmaster for affiliate sales and you'll do good. Blogs are great, too, and making adult sites just to sell the traffic to CPC ad brokers is kind of like giving up....

I would humbly disagree, ad networks can provide some benefit to your ad spots that isn't anything like giving up. We have thousands of advertisers, so unless you build your own geo-targeted ad server then there's no way that you are maximizing your traffic. I've yet to find an sponsor that can single handily monetize a spot as well as having multiple advertisers buying different geo-segments of your traffic.

That's not to say that you can't also mix in some sponsors that do well, but its not giving up.

I was talking about just selling ad space for CPC ad spots, which don't have any effect on the blogger who puts them up if they convert or not. Individual bloggers have a much better chance to make more money with niche related ads, possibly rotating them dynamically using some php..

If I use Juicy Ads, how would geo-targeting make me more money, besides showing an ad for a surfer in a country with a slightly higher CPC payout? Or am I missing how Juicy Ads work?

          Edit:blogger=anything website related..

So for example, lets say you have ad spot A. You put up sponsor ad that would appeal to north american credit card buyers, which would be say 60% of your traffic, the other 40% is just wasted because the ad doesn't appeal to them and they don't use credit cards.

Now you take ad spot A and put it in JuicyAds, now that sponsor if in JuicyAds, can get that 60% of the traffic he wants only paying for it, but also the German traffic can go to another, the Asian traffic to another, the French to another, Middle east to another, etc... all from that same ad spot so the overall value of that spot is increased because each advertiser is getting their piece of the traffic.

Now, with JuicyAds we also allow publishers to set direct buy prices because in some cases it might be worth buying it all even if 60% is usable to them, but its not a single advertiser buying the spot that makes our value but the ability to break your traffic from a single ad spot into dozens of different advertisers each benefiting because they are targeting what they want for their products.

Another benefit, using the example above, say there's another sponsor that wants the 60% of the traffic that 1 advertiser is buying, he can go in and outbid that advertiser to get the traffic which makes you more money.

Also, you don't have to spend your time and effort in trying to make stuff convert, that responsibility will be on the advertisers rather then you have no control over their site(s).

I get how it works.. But calculate how much traffic it takes to sell off to CPC and it will take much more traffic to make $20 than making a $20 sale, not to mention rebills. If your banners are converting better than that (Mine average 1:800-1:2000, others vary) then stick with your own, right? Which was basically my point above..

With that in mind, would I be able to keep my own ads for say Tier1 traffic and sell the rest to Juicy Ads?

it's your opinion and you're entitled to it, so here's mine...

Programs closing and fucking affiliates or banging cards are more of an exception than a rule. Stick with people who have been around a while and have a solid track record. Actually look at the site you're selling rather than grab the highest pps on cheap trial, if you push a solid site then you'll have very little issue.

Kills me when people hate on non ccbill programs. The worst thing anyone can do in any business is put all their eggs in one basket. CCBill is a great company but having all your revenue coming from one source isn't safe or smart.

Some cases it is better to do PPS or Revshare but in many we can help as well, many find doing a combo works well.

We currently don't offer this but we might in the future.
