Have you seen this new movie called Cherry (or in some countries "About Cherry") ? It is about a girl who completely screws up her life by getting addicted to drugs and then hits the ultimate low and ::gasp:: gets into porn.

The supposition of the movie seems to be that the only reason any girl becomes a porn model is because her life is completely fucked up and she has no choice. To what extent do you feel this is true?

I don't believe this is true, but when times are rough for some of my female friends, they ask if I'm still shooting content or if I know anyone who's hiring models. I never take them seriously.

I think when some women hit rock bottom, they are more likely to turn to prostitution than porn.

I know there are a ton of girls who've hit rock bottom and do porn because they have no choice, and others who are trying to survive until their acting/modelling career gets a lucky break. screen writers seldom have any life experience so why would you even wonder about any thing they would write?

Well all the models I did work with sound like they enjoy a lot what their doing and often have a other job so that is more a hobbies for them. Same about the cam girl i know, they enjoy it and they like to have the freedom to work any time they want. Mable it because I'm not from a poor city so the dynamic not the same.

your right. the girl in it didnt "Hit rock bottom". True her life at home was not a good one, but it was a good little movie.

shit some of the girls I work with don't need a dime, it is like they do it to rebel or something. One girl just loves the attention also. Others do it because they are lazy and it is a lot easier then anything else they can do
