Fireworks does this easy for you, it`s in the tool bar option to add slices and generate the HTML. I learned it myself like this, just saying.Comment

Have you done FHG's specifically with Fireworks? I should try it...because my hair is turning grey over slicing! Kind of the only reason I outsource most of my paysites atm.Comment

Thanks Tom...I had to run and get dinner but I just sent your dollah billz ;)
For the sake of this thread...I downloaded the trial of Fireworks...looks simple enough I just don't know how to get all my slices into HTML automatically?Comment

Photoshop/PSD to html is easy. Coding into CSS a bit more difficult.
With Photoshop you can literally just slice it up and export to html.Your Paysite Partner

I'm not terrible with html/css but I can edit it much better than write it from scratch. I would pay someone well if they would teach me how they code a paysite. I watch tons of tutorials on YouTube but it is never the same because they aren't ever building porn sites on youtube.
But hey...big thanks to Tom for getting this FHG done for me!Comment

Not trying to be a bitch, but as a head's up, your slice is breaking apart in IE8 in 3 places. Thanks to Tjeezers I learned to slice & code my own FHG's in about 3 hours...here is my first try.... http://chubbymuffins.com/fhg005.html

Thats not good. Any tips on how to fix/prevent that? I've don't have IE on this machine but it looks seamless in Firefox and small slice line down the middle in chrome when I zoom out.Comment

At one time I might have been able to help you, but I am way out of practice on that type of thing.
I can tell you that the breaks are on the right hand image of the girl. They are under her chin, under her tits, and right where her hands are at the top of the skirt.~

I am seeing it now from my laptop...IE also puts a blue border around hot linked images so I see tons of that around the buttons that I hacked up...grrr...looks great from my android devices, firefox and chrome...how many ppl still use IE?Comment

Look at the code. Is anything junk getting added in that should't be? Dreamweaver is abad about that, so I assume Fireworks could be guilty as well. When I was more fluent in this stuff, I used Photoshop to slice.~

At least one. ;) I have so many issues with FF anymore that I prefer IE to it. Plus I have some things that still really don't seem to like FF.
Not trying to sound like I'm telling you what to do, but good design principles say you have to look at it in as many environments as possible to see what happens. I think there was a site at one time where you could input your URL, and it would show you how it looked in different browsers. But I don't remember what it was. Someone else may know what I am talking about, and be able to help you with it.
Don't beat yourself up over it, that is for sure. Slicing always busted my ass about 50% of the time, and it should be really simple.
Edit: re: the blue border, you should be able to make that go away with a simple border="0". I will view the source code, and if something jumps to mind, I'll let you know.Last edited by selena; 11-29-2012, 08:10 PM.~

Try this. Unless my sleepy eyes have missed something, it looks like I think you want it to in IE.

And I am glad I was of some help, I know how hard it is to start up on your own and learn it on your own, and you are very fast in picking up, nice work!Comment
