Is everything falling apart?

about half of the threads right now are about scammers, spammers, companies going out of business, death threats, people telling others to fuck off. I know that most of this is common everyday shit here....but the last few days there seems to be a lot more of it. I would rather be cutting deals with people then reading about people getting ripped off. Post here if you would like to make some cash and stop wasting time

Ok, so post a topic.. "What's working" is too general. And with everyone "AMP'd" up with all the shit here, it'll be hard to get a decent response... But I'm willing to discuss and learn.

Listen to your affiliates, listen to your members, listen to the experienced webmasters, listen to the newbies (you were once one, and you had great ideas remember?) listen to everyone.

Listen, and then decide who is full of it, and who has something to offer.

That is great stuff but i have always had a problem being a follower. I have a great ICQ list and talk on the phone with some of the "greats" in this industry. But right now i feel like there is no "next big thing" I have not heard any ideas that get me excited... so i guess this is a reach out to people that have some good ideas that they are sitting on to hit me up, I'm ready to work with people to bring ideas to the next level. go ahead and flame me if you want to have some fun, I can shake that off....but ICQ me if you want to move your business forward with someone that wants to do the same!

No. Nothing is falling apart, BUT the industry constantly changes and this is proved every single day.

Today WSB went out of business.

What did you learn from it?

Many things or nothing probably, but the vital is that mistakes have a cost. Lack of research will bring you down. High risk decisions can bring you down. I know from 1st hand that many webmasters make less money than before. Others make way more. It is highly related on how fast you can adapt.

If you have something good or better....something UNIQUE to offer, be honest, gain the trust of the rest, avoid high risk decisions, you'll do good. Always deal with people you have a possitive feedback about them. When you see smoke...probably there's fire.

the pleasure was mine as well. for everyone else, i'll vouch for these guys.

i probably will hit you up when i get a little closer to getting the project stabilized. i'm very dependant on good code and a high-speed site (seen too many php/mysql catastropes), something i probably can't do since i'm not a php vet. right now i've got 3 sites to finish before i get to that one, but i should be done with those all in a few weeks. we'll see, but i can hope you're on my icq list tho.
