How do I remove birthday notifications on ICQ?

I'm not seeing it in the settings... is it even there?

Haven't seen a damn birthday notification in years. Plus you get to use it with different protocols too, like AIM, YM, MSN etc.

Just uninstall it and use email

I understand there are many alternatives to ICQ, but I still wanna use it.

Same issue...the problem is that we have too many ICQ contacts. GREAT problem to have.

I use http://www.trillian.im/ (allows you to have your icq, msn, etc all in one messenger). I dont get any icq bday notifications on it ;0

I have the same problem, every night I have to close them.

I'm getting those probably few times a year, and I have couple of hundred contacts.
Using alternative client though...

I disabled my ICQ sounds years ago, and have absolutely no regrets

Settings - Tweak My ICQ - the last option in the list is "Birthday Reminder".

I just delete people that have birthday notifications sent out. Helps thin the list as well,

That only disables the sound. I have all sounds disabled already.

What I'm trying to get rid of are popup reminders in the corner of my screen. Most of which are birthdays.

Took a quick look around google and couldn't find anything about disabling the popup.

Notifications > New Info Alert (uncheck it)

Tried that. Maybe that will work.
