I've heard a rumored release date of 9/21 with the announcement and pre-orders coming on 9/12.

I am due for an upgrade. The new iPhone is really going to have to impress, with the Galaxy S III being the amazing phone it is.

I'm more excited about the idea of a 7'' iPad.

Most are probably software based, so any phone that will run iOS6 will get those too. The biggie on the hardware side is a larger 16:9 ratio screen.

I'm sold. My only hope was it was slightly bigger. I like iPhone, it isn't the best phone on the market but for me it does the job very efficiently. So long as my phone can get email, browse the web, have good apps, make calls and send texts, I'm fine.. oh and also so long as it isn't a Blackberry.

Mine is the very first, old-ass, original iPhone 2G from 2008.

It's pretty worn out. I don't believe in upgrading with every damn new version, but it's due. It doesn't ring anymore - the vibrate switch broke - so it just vibrates now. Most of the apps won't work on it. The phones have come so far since then. It'll be nice to come out of the dark ages of smartphones. I'll probably go with the iP5.

Bigger screen, quad core processor, more RAM, skinnier, LTE, completely revised connection port, iOS 6 with 200 new features, and a battery that will kick ass. All of that is almost assured. Putting it amongst the most modern updated phones and ahead of it's biggest competition the Galaxy S3. Which btw is coming to the U.S. WITHOUT the quadcore processor found in the European version (battery issues?)

AND they will more than likely drop the "new number added to the end" in favor of just calling it 'the new iPhone', just as they did with the iPad.

But of course you'll ignore everything I said above and just label me a sheep.

Most software I use doesn't work properly with MAC.

same as HARDWARE.. Last month I bought a LOGITECH HD WEBCAM and it doesn't work with MAC, but works amazing with Windows... and no, its not the webcam faults.

MAC SUCKS for people who want CUSTOMIZATION...

But for people that never opened a Computer case in their lives or that never detached a CPU to change the vacuum grease of the dissipator, yeah.. they are all MAC ADDICTS that will pay OVER-PRICED gadgets.
