Googol Anal is good for larger sites but it's a pain in the ass to learn and has some harsh navigation/intuitive issues.

Still pretty good though.

Awstats is good if you know how to install and tweak the plug-in to your server logs.

Statcounter is the simplest to use.

I usually prefer having two sets of metrics to compare - most don't count the hits the same and it's good to have two sets to compare/analyze....

You can customize dashboard to get only things you need, so it doesn't have to be pain in the ass.

well.I have not yet found how to use Awstats tweak to my pages..seems like a software .
